Background:

On the Road Truck Repair is a unique enterprise. It is the only 100% mobile truck repair and service operation in the country. All service is conducted on site at the customer’s location. There is no traditional “shop” which enables the technicians much more flexibility in scheduling their own work hours in addition to being more readily available for customer needs.

JS Challenge:

Run by two distinct personalities, our job was to meld the importance of the company with professionalism needed for their customers and ruggedness needed for their employees into the logo.

JS Solution:

We presented many concepts to the client; the client was happy with several of these ideas and finally decided to use the bolt to represent work and ruggedness, while the logo itself has diversity. This logo can be used in many formats. The type treatment stands alone well, and the logo can be printed either vertically or horizontally.

To further enhance the logo, we decided to print the business cards using a metallic silver. This logo works very well in various media — from the metallic business cards, to black and white printing, and even to apparel in a variety of colors.

Results:

Employees proudly wear their shirts, and customers have requested apparel as well. The logo is a distinguishing mark that is displayed on employee-owned trucks during service times.
